Spider VS Centipede

A rare interaction in this piece of Cretaceous amber - A spider is close to a centipede and below the centipede we can see small baby centipedes, perhaps the mother was trying to defend her children when the Cretaceous amber flow trapped the scene in this amazing window into the past. Feel free to right click on the image to download it as you can enjoy zooming in on different areas to examine them in close detail.
